With its official launch this week in Medellin, the business organization Panaca begin to take their theme park for several regions.

The project required an investment of over 5,000 million pesos and is expected its mobile facilities in the Aeroparque Juan Pablo II reach at least 350,000 people over the next six months.

This project will create about 120 jobs, of which 80 percent will be owned by the city of Medellin, while more than 200,000 visitors are expected.

Jorge Ballen, Panaca manager, said the initiative was developed with the support of Colciencias.

"This will revolutionize the world of entertainment in the country. Its main component is pedagogical: hope to educate more than 500,000 people in different cities of Colombia in the first year of operation, "he said Ballen.

The traveling version of Panaca includes 400 domestic animals zoology, presentations and two thematic modules, called 'Crossing 5 continents galloping' and 'Dawn peasant'.

After his stay in the city until October 12, the park will move to Monteria and then to Cali, for the year-end season, just for the fair.

According to a preliminary market research, it is estimated that people spend Antioquia 62,000 pesos per capita per year to entertainment, equivalent to 4 billion pesos a year. The amount includes tickets to movies, concerts, sporting events and parks in general.
